This historic gas station is known for its siding of petrified wood. It was part of the Texas Tourist Camp Complex started in 1927.

So cool! And the cafe is still open today! Wish we could've sat and ate so I could give a review. The cabins are really cool and pretty!

Very cool stop! The Whistle Cafe is only open Monday-Friday.

Very cool stop if you want to get out and take some pictures. The sun sets behind it, so you should be able to get some cool sunset shots.
