Toth Indian Statue
Whispering Giant Kno-Tah; the name was taken from the name of the chief of the Tualatin tribe of Indians. He was the chief who agreed to the "land cessions" treaty granting the White Man control of the Tualatin Plains.
[Stavros K, 09/12/2016]Right outside the Hillsboro Library (half a block away from the A&W Family mentioned on your web site) in Shute Park is a giant Indian head statue made of wood. Some guy came to Hillsboro in the'80s and carved it on site. In high school I knew an exchange student from Peru who used to tell us that he saw it suddenly open its eyes and look right at him. He used to tell us a lot of things.
