About 98 percent of Dr. Gloom's stuff has been moved out and is currently in storage. But the proprietor of the next-door Protean Books and Records excitedly revealed to us, "I have the best two pieces!" -- those two being a Fiji Mermaid and a skeletal vampire with a stake through its heart. The store also has vintage books, albums, and plenty of pop culture awesomeness.
