Outdoor park features large playground swings designed by an art firm that glow and color-shift when they move. Best time to visit is after dark, but that's when the park is often off-limits for private parties.

The Lawn on D. In the gentrified former Fort Point industrial district, on the west side of D St., two blocks south of Summer St. Fenced-in park is sometimes closed for private parties.

Glow-in-the-Dark Swings

These swings are beautiful. They actually light up after the sun sets and look like a cluster of moons. Not to be missed at night! Unfortunately, we went to see them on a Saturday night, and a private party was in full swing. We plan to return another time.
