Giant Rosary Beads
At the Our Lady of Fatima Shrine in Holliston. The rosary is 950 feet long, is connected to an anchor (a memorial to President Kennedy, to whom the rosary is dedicated), and was built in the 1950s by missionary Rev. Oddo Galeazzi. He got the massive granite "beads" from blasting crews who were building I-495. The rosary sits on 23 acres with other memorials and shrines, including a statue of the apparitions at Fatima. This is a place of prayer and reflection, so please respect the other visitors.
