The Stone Hut is about fossils, fun, and a few yard sale oddities that Morris "Buz" Bussey finds. Buz is diffidently what you would call a "local character." His shop is not the normal tourist store... his fossils are from all over the world, but it isn't really about fossils. It's magic tricks with the kids, it is trying to get Mom to hula-hoop 20 times so the kidos can have a free fossil! Flags and handwritten sign are everywhere. Tall stories about the history of the Stone Hut in the Prohibition era and anything else this Texas Cajun can make up are always topics of conversation. Some just stop to talk, tell a Boudreau joke, and have a beer or a wine tasting. He sits outside to wave at people passing by. Buz has also been known to stop bicyclists and give them a bottles of water on a hot day.
