Entiat High School's graduating classes paint the year of their graduation on Numeral Mountain's cliffs. I have seen this for 40 years, but I had to ask at the local grocery store to learn the name of the mountain. The clerk there told me "It's in the Guinness Book of Records." But when I asked her what was its World Record, she confessed she didn't know. Some of these graduating classes likely do not have anyone living -- that's how old some of the numbers are. Seems like I remember a "10" (graduating class of 1910) up there....
