Don't be fooled that this is only [rated] Mildly Interesting. There is an adorable little park, goats to feed and maybe the best orange sherbet from the ice stand! Worth the detour!

A seven-foot-tall aluminum rooster stands outside a local farm, ice cream shop, and gardening center. He is a 2015 replacement for a fiberglass rooster created by International Fiberglass and erected in 1971. People from nearby towns know "The Big Chicken," who's been the victim of several kidnapping/vandalism plots, mostly by local teens, since the day he was placed. The businesses are seasonal, but the chicken stands proudly 365 days a year.
