A hillside of cement walls, turned into a constantly evolving tableau of graffiti. Despite its anything-goes look, people needed to fill out forms before they could spray their art. Scheduled for development demolishing in 2019.

Despite its anything-goes look, the "only paint park of its kind in the USA" has rules. Not just anyone can express themselves here. Aspiring artists are supposed to fill out a questionnaire, provide proof of ID, submit a sketch or mock-up, and sign a waiver before they can spray.

We went and saw anyone and everyone spray-painting. I spoke with an artist selling his work at the Art Park entrance, and it seems as though the "must have permission"/space aspect has been lost. But it is still very cool to look at.
