Very cool! There were a couple of guys working on the building, so I decided to ask them about the dragon. One of them was its creator. He said he created it when he was planning on making the building into an art gallery, which never happened. And that it has brought some notoriety to the town of Clayton. Also, the local police department loves it because it is a source of revenue from ticketing people who park in the middle of the street to take a picture. Be sure to park on the side street instead!

The Trading Post has been empty since 2013, if not earlier, and the dragon was there even then. Maybe a former Chinese restaurant?
