Bagpipe Museum

Oella Mill in the old industrial town of Oella just outside of Baltimore, across the river from Ellicott City. The mill, which once made sails for clipper ships, is now the home of several antique shops, artist studios and other small businesses. While several, including the Bagpipe Museum, are worth a look, the star of the place is Dorfman's Museum Figures. Here is where so many of the waxworks you love are made. You can see them in all stages of production and hear from both live and waxen figures on the trade. And find out about another American dynasty like the Wyeths and the Peales, the Dorfmans.
