Monument to "The Pride of Sudlersville"
Really no reason to go to this town or any surrounding town, haha. No offense to anyone, but this is a small eastern Maryland town. However, the memorial reveals lots of interesting facts and the statue is cool.

Approach from the east. There are trees blocking the view of the statue coming from the west on Main.
[Kathy Booher, 07/06/2014]There is a new monument to the "Pride of Sudlersville." Jimmie Foxx in his hometown of Sudlersville, MD. Foxx hit 534 home runs in his career and in one season hit 58, with two more not counted because they were hit in games that were rained out. If they had counted it would have equalled Babe Ruth's season record for homers. The monument is very well done, looking as if it costs more than the rest of Sudlersville put together.
