In the Norwegian-influenced town of Milan, there stands a traditional Norwegian Stabbur House, which in the old country was used as a pantry, a storage shed, or even extra sleeping quarters. It was built in Norway by Halvard Pettersen in 1987, who then had it shipped to Minnesota and re-assembled on a farm just outside of town.
