Las Vegas, Nevada: Madame Tussauds Interactive Wax Attraction

Get up close and grope the wax celebrities. The collection is ever-shifting, but you'll always find Hollywood A-listers, sports celebs, talk show hosts, and a handful of US Presidents. Special focus on the entertainers of Las Vegas.

Last week, news reports noted that Barack Obama wax figures were being officially installed in Madame Tussauds around the globe (He was already in place in the Washington DC Tussauds).

It was $45 per adult today. I've been there before and don't think it's worth that price to do it again, but if you've never done it before it's a good time.

They added a "Hangover" section that's pretty fun for pics.

Located outside of the Venetian Hotel and Casino, this is a great attraction. With an adult ticket price of $25 ($18 for Seniors and $15 for children 7-12) it's a little pricey. There are places that you can get discount and 2 for 1 coupons (the Great American Casino Guide is where I got my 2 for 1 coupon). But it is well worth the money.

They tend to exchange figures with their other locations, so if there is a specific figure you want to see on your trip, it is best to call or email them to make sure it will be there when you visit. You can get married to George Clooney, judge American Idol with Simon Cowell, sing with Mic Jagger, or dance with Beyonce. The gift shop was pricey and not that impressive though.
