Madame Tussauds Wax Museum

Madame Tussauds knows how to arrange a photo opportunity. At their Las Vegas wax museum, the whole idea is to pose with your favorite celebrities. Snapshots are encouraged, and the wax figures are high quality facsimiles of Hollywood and Vegas famous. It's always surprises us, especially after a summer examining the corpse-like, near unrecognizable sculptures at the nation's low grade wax museums.

At Tussauds, if a visitor holds still for just a few seconds, a crowd starts to gather trying to guess which famous person it might be.

While we shot plenty of photos ourselves, this snapshot seemed important to publish ASAP -- as a caution. The idea of the Hugh Hefner figure, in his PJs on a circular bed, is that people who DO NOT look like Playboy playmates can pose with him. That's what makes it funny. Our momentary models, April and Tara, simply look too comfortable and natural hanging with the Man.

So take our advice -- hold Grandma Flo's walker while she puts on the bunny ears and climbs on Hef's lap. Your family will appreciate it.
