Peninsula Point Lighthouse

A one lane gravel road right on the shore of Lake Michigan takes you to to a lighthouse tower that you can climb. The spiral staircase is in great shape. There was no light equipment at the top any longer.

Nearby are picnic tables and grills. It's a special place where monarch butterflies congregate before they make the long trip across Lake Michigan.
