Kiddieland Amusement Park Sign
Kiddieland Amusement Park was open from 1929-2009. The iconic sign was added in 1950, and greeted everyone from the corner of North and First Aves. Lit at night, the sign could be seen from even a mile or two away. It now is at the Melrose Park Library, and the words "KIDDIELAND" still light up at night.
