Giant Arrows In The Ground

The arrows are no longer up. We drove by and there is only one left, but it is laying on the ground. It looks like maybe the ground became too wet and they rotted?!

Giant Arrows Sculpture

In downtown Fort Smith, five 1,100-pound telephone poles have been transformed into giant arrows buried in the ground. Created by artist D*FACE in 2016. Sponsored by the Choctaw Nation.

[Tim Pilgrim, 06/29/2018]

Paradoxically, D*FACE is an artist from London, England. Confusedly, the arrows have supposedly been shot from a building-size mural eight blocks away, of a giant Indian woman launching paintbrushes with her bow.
