Colorado Springs, Colorado: Octo-Maid: Metal Mermaid
"Iscariot" by Jackson Trace O'Connor is a giant rooftop mermaid built out of old galvanized light poles. O'Conner said he was inspired by reading a lot of comic books and watching television nature shows, and borrowed the name from a Smashing Pumpkins album. Meant to be uplifting, but looks scary to us.
