Worth a stop if you like old ships. So much detail on the ships; he uses the actual blueprints to work from.
[Judy, 06/29/2022]Tour is intense and takes several hours. So be sure to plan time.
[K And k, 07/15/2021]This is a fascinating museum, and the artist is at work in his studio-workshop just about every day. The exhibit consist of 90 carvings (and growing) of miniature ships, starting with Egyptian ships from 3200 BC, carved from antique ivory. Highly educational and interesting guided tours.
[Dan, 05/16/2020]David Warther is the grandson of Ernest Mooney Warther, whose museum is in Dover, Ohio. David has his own unique, and just as masterfully created, carvings of ships that are as good as his grandfather's trains. His museum is deserving of a better description than I can write. A really nice little museum.
