Bone Zone - Bone Motorcycle
The area south of Santa Fe is full of artisans of all stripes. You can find them using all sorts of media to do their work, including this artist who used bone as her medium. Talk to the artist; I guarantee you won't forget her. I visited the Bone Zone to see the Bone Motorcycle. It's up on the roof of her house. If you chat with the artist, let her know you appreciate the stop by dropping a buck or two in the donations can to keep this attraction available to us.
[George Barker, 04/02/2005]Just a few miles north of Madrid along the side of the road is Tiny Town. A collection of bones and other misc. items that the owner has turned into art work such as a motorcycle on top of her trailer made of bone with a road painted on the end of the trailer. Pull off near the guard rail and take a look, it's worth the stop and the lady is a trip to talk to.
