Overlooked the west bank of the Blue Earth River at the Rapidan Dam. Included a selection of souvenirs leveraging many variants of the "dam" joke. Torn down in June 2024 when floodwaters collapsed the dam.

The Dam Store was torn down in June 2024 because the dam near the store was breached by flooding.

[Melanie, 07/28/2024]As of June 28th, 2024, the Dam Store is gone, removed when threatened by the raging Blue Earth River after it breached the nearby Rapidan Dam.
[Terry Wermerskirchen, 07/14/2024]As of June 2024 - the store is no longer there. The city of Blue Earth purchased it and demolished it to save it from falling into the river. Owners say they will try to rebuild.

As of 2023, no CCs accepted in The Dam Store -- cash only! Nearest ATM is about 15 minutes away in Lake Crystal. Or buy something with your debit card at the town's only grocery store, and get up to $50 cash back with your purchase.
