Alameda, California: Jet on a Stick: Albino Angel
Naval Air Station artifact, a Douglas A-4 "Scooter" Skyhawk carrier light attack aircraft built in 1957, displayed on a concrete post since 1969, felled in a 2008 storm, repaired twice and affixed on a sturdier metal post in 2011. Painted in "Albino Angels" colors, an unsanctioned spoof of the show-off "Blue Angels."
