Birthplace of Harold Lloyd

This is the house where silent film star/comedian Harold Lloyd was born in 1893, in quintessential small-town America. Inside you can see some of Lloyd's personal items donated by the Family Trust, and even watch one of his films. You have to call ahead to make appointment to see inside. The woman who runs it, Esther, is very nice and accommodating.

[Steve Herold, 08/11/2018]

Harold Lloyd was a superstar during the 1920s silent movie era, familiar today chiefly through iconic stills from a film where he dangles from a tower clock face. The kinetic actor and director retired a multimillionaire.
