Birthplace of Buffalo Bill Cody

A stone marker identifies the location of the farm where Buffalo Bill Cody was born in 1846. Today it is a corn field; the farm is long gone. Buffalo Bill was one of the first national "superstars," and, for his time, was quite progressive in trying to get people to learn about and appreciate other cultures. He was also one of the greatest showmen of the 19th century.

[Nathanael Miller, 08/14/2018]

Despite his Renaissance range of accomplishments, Buffalo Bill will always be known for killing buffalo.
