Former plantation and mansion of the Walke family. Said to have ghosts roam the property of family members and three slaves who were hung on the 300-year-old sycamore tree out back. The house has ties to Grace Sherwood, the witch of Pungo, when it was the county courthouse in which she was tried. Cody, our tour guide, was very informative and also part of the ACID paranormal group. The plantation also hosts Frightful Fridays to check out any nighttime paranormal happenings.
