Pseudo-replica of a Norman castle that once was the mansion of a rich industrialist. Now a free public park. Visitors can explore the ground floor.

Built in 1902 as the family home of industrialist Frederic E. Kip. Bought in 2007 by Essex County and is now a public park with a good view of the New York City skyline. The home -- a 9,000-square-foot Norman castle replica -- is really a lovely stone mansion with lush green property.
