The Great Lakes Maritime Heritage Center is a neat little free museum inside the Thunder Bay National Marine Sanctuary. You can learn about the shipwrecks that have occurred on the Great Lakes. A replica of the Western Hope schooner is there which you can walk through to get a feeling what it was like living and working on small ships.
