Niles, Ohio: 20-Foot-Tall Steelworker Made of Junk
Built in 1993 by Sidney Rackoff, who used metal scraps he found in the junkyard where the statue stands. Sidney at the time was 74 years old (he lived to be 95).

The big Iron Worker statue was made by the children of the Niles Iron & Metal scrap yard owners, and was given to their parents as a 40th anniversary gift. The current owners are the fourth generation for this family business.

I just happened to ride by this big metal guy on my V-Rod. It stands at the Niles Iron and Metal Company.
