Bellevue, Washington: Giant Tiki Head

15 feet tall, carved out of a giant block of wood by the late E. Marcus Westby in 1968. Considering its age, and material, and the weather, the Tiki has held up remarkably well.

Giant Tiki Head

I am a Tiki fan and I ca'nt believe I never saw this one, being as I live only about three miles from it. Seems to be well cared for and solidly bolted down. It's just off the parking lot so you don't have to go inside the club to find it. It guards the tennis courts.
