A large, full color head of Aphrodite lies on its side on the low roof over the entrance to the McPherson Theater. Students modify it annually.

On top of Illinois Wesleyan University's McPherson Theater Building rests a large head. It was a prop from a production at the theater.
[Doug Dirr, 10/13/2018]Created in 2002, it was originally the head of Aphrodite. But every spring the head is taken down and repainted by students. One year it became the head of KISS's Gene Simmons.
