A unique memorial, unveiled 15 years after the terror attacks, features a rusty 17-foot-long beam draped on its upper end by a bronze American flag gripped by an angry-looking bronze bald eagle. The beam is balanced at an angle atop two miniature granite Twin Towers, one collapsing downward in a debris cloud blob of what appears to be gray cement.
