Per someone walking a dog with a Humane Society shirt on, the big red wiener dog fell into disrepair and was replaced with a smaller red dog. We walked around the entire building to double-check.
[Mel, 11/06/2024]Someone reported that the Big Red Wiener Dog in Mount Pleasant was gone, but I am an employee at the Wisconsin Humane Society Racine Campus, and I can confirm that he is still in the same spot on our shelter grounds. Thank you!

The Wiener Dog was in a different spot in Mount Pleasant when he disappeared in 2019. We're glad that he's found a new forever home.
