Hattiesburg has a memorial to the 9-11 attacks on the Twin Towers, but unlike most 9-11 memorials that have a reproduction of the pre-attack Twin Towers, each tower in this memorial has a jagged hole showing where the planes struck. It is very interesting and unsettling at the same time.
