As the giant mascot for Boom City (a fireworks business just south of Mississippi's border with Tennessee), this Big John may be the first to sport a gold tooth AND shades.

Saw the Big John on MS highway 61 with a new paint job.

27 feet tall, Big John was known as "Gutterman" when he previously stood in Memphis. He was purchased about ten years ago by Dale Wilson and moved to his current spot, where advertises a seasonal fireworks stand. He remains all year long.
