Mount Vernon, Illinois: Uniroyal Gal (Gone)

Fiberglass 1960s lady stood outside the long-gone Stan the Tire Man. Moved to California in June 2015, restored, then returned to her former spot in July 2022. Sold in September 2024; reportedly moved to somewhere in Texas in early October.

As of July 12th, 2022, Stan's Gal has returned home. She was re-acquired by Lincoln Nation, the current owner of the Stan the Tire Man building, which now houses the Overhead Door Company of Mt Vernon.

Bell Plastics' Uniroyal Girl is back from the beauty shop! On August 27, 2017 everyone is invited for an open house at Bell Plastics and Big Mike's birthday party. First open house in 38 years of business.

Bruce Kennedy informs us that his latest acquisition, a rare Uniroyal Gal, arrived from her longtime home in Mt. Vernon, Illinois. He's set her up next to his filling station man -- Hayward's new power couple? He's closer to her in scale than the Muffler Men in Bruce's lot....

Bruce Kennedy reports that he's just acquired the Uniroyal Gal in Mount Vernon, Illinois. It will be shipped within several weeks to join his giant fiberglass statue collection in Hayward, California.

The shapely lady had been a Mt. Vernon landmark for many years. With her move west, Peoria's Uniroyal Gal, Vanna Whitewall, is the last fiberglass giantess of note in Illinois.
