Fenced off beach vacation and resident cottages in various states of decay. Built between 1926 and 1939, sold to the state in 1979. Visitor center exhibits.

Ruins of 1920s Beach Cottages
The Crystal Cove Historic District is a group of beach cottages built in the 1930s and 40s around the mouth of a creek. The federally listed Historic District is an enclave of 46 vintage rustic coastal cottages and is a state park. Refurbishment has started and those cottages completed are available for overnight rentals.
