The fourth grade class of the local elementary school elects a famous historical figure every year, and a local artist and craftsman carves them into a wooden statue. This year's honoree is a groovy-looking Colonel Sanders holding a bucket of his famous fried chicken. He's in good company with other local famous wooden people. This interesting walkway is behind the field of the elementary school and butts up to the back end of Riverside Cemetery.
