Another sighter posted this little car as a VW Bug, but it is actually a 50 Fiat which has been on the roof of Cosmos Auto Parts since 1960. Everyone who has traveled Route 9 in Bayville, NJ knows it well!

Old Volkswagen Bug on Building

I was fascinated the first time I saw the white Volkswagen Bug on top of a small building (auto shop) in Bayville, in NJ. I would come down to visit my sister, and would pass it on the way to her house. Now, I live in southern Jersey, close by, and the car is still on top of the building. There also used to be a big cowboy figure on a restaurant in the same town and a dinosaur in front of another building..
