Moving monument. Inspiring to say the least. A stark reminder of the pain and suffering of these poor souls during the Holocaust/WWII and the inspiration provided by a survivor.

This is a very impressive 40-foot-high outstretched hand sculpture that is available for viewing every day of the year. The statue has sculptures of Holocaust victims of all ages on the lower parts of the hand, at the base, and some further out. There are adults reaching out to older people; babies and children reaching to adults. Some are clearly in agony and dying. In addition there is a large wall that has the history of the Holocaust along with names of victims and a large reflecting pool one can see when you come to visit. Very somber reminder of the tragedy of the Holocaust.
