Brightly Painted Railroad Cars

The offices of attorney Tim Hootman are in three brightly colored railroad cars: a boxcar, a Pullman car, and a caboose on the corner of Pease and Dowling Streets -- just down from the Flower Man. The cars, and accompanying sculptures, must frequently get new coats of paint; the well-endowed woman statue has been green, blue, and pink in photographs taken at different times.

Hootman won an award for best law office in 2011.

Brightly Painted Railroad Cars

Followed up on a blurb on this website and finally found the railroad cars on the lot in downtown Houston, corner of Pease and Dowling Streets, roughly east of downtown. Busy intersection and semi-dangerous, near freeways. Great fencing, colorful "woman" statue in front, and a sign, reading "Tim Hootman, Lawyer' with phone number.

Brightly painted railroad cars, iron giraffes

Near the Flower Man House in Houston, TX are two properties that deserve attention when you're in the neighborhood. At 2402 Pease St., Houston, TX 77003-5238, there is a lot that features three brightly painted railroad cars. We asked Cleveland "Flower Man" Turner if he knew anything about it. He said that he was aware of the railroad cars but didn't know the people in charge of the property.

Less than half a mile away, there is a 2-story olive-colored house between 3106 and 3120 Caroline St. (immediate left of 3106, immediate right of 3120) that features two iron giraffes in the front yard.
