Someone went to a lot of work to make this Cowboy Riding a Dinosaur. It's fashioned from scrap metal, bits of old farm machinery, saw blades, etc. If you're heading east on Hwy. 12 through Lemmon, it's on the right hand side of the road.
[Joe Boulter, 08/27/2010]My husband and I recently took a trip to Lemmon South Dakota, We visited the petrified wood park. It is undergoing some new renovations headed by Mr. Max Myhre.
We had a nice visit with him and the park is getting a new face lift While in Lemmon we also found a free non-profit museum which specializes in dinosaur bones found on the curator's ranch south of Lemmon on the Grand River. The Concordia University in Moorhead, Minnesota is heading up digging expeditions , Cleaning up the bones and returning them to the museum. They also have a replica of the head of "SUE" The skull of a Tyrannosaurus Rex that was found by Faith, South Dakota As well as their dinosaur exhibits they have wonderful exhibits on American natives as well as ranching in South Dakota.
