If you're in South Pittsburgh on Hwy 72 going north, turn right onto Hwy 156. Cross the Shelby Rhinehart Memorial Bridge and drive a few miles until you see two signs; State Line Cemetery and the second, Macedonia Baptist Church. They're on the same framework. You'll pass the church on the left and then watch for a group of mailboxes on the left side of the road. Turn right just before reaching the mailboxes. The cemetery is at the end of this road. Just past the end of the cemetery, park in the gravel area and a well traveled, rocky path leads a short distance up to the marker. There is the remnants of an old stacked stone wall just before the archway and marker.

When you arrive, park next to the State Line Graveyard and walk into the woods on the established path parallel to the road. The path will split and you want to stay left. Interesting note - there appears to be part of an old stone wall left nearby.
[Ashley Casiano, 09/15/2023]There are a couple of trails leading away from the cemetery. One leads to the river and the other to the marker, with purple arrows showing the way. The adjacent cemetery is completely enclosed by a fence, so it's convenient for the dogs to play.
[Brenda Shackleford, 07/10/2022]When the path splits, take the left and it is just ahead.

How do you move from Alabama to Tennessee to Georgia without driving an inch? Just look for the tiny monument marking the spot where those state borders meet! It's named after mathematician James Camak, who set this marker's location.
