Directions:: From Woodbury drive north on GA-74/85 for three miles. Turn right at the sign for Covered Bridge Feed onto Covered Bridge Rd. Drive one mile to the bridge. Passenger cars and smaller vehicles only.

"Lawless" was a 2012 historical drama about the bootlegging Bondurant brothers. Shia LeBeouf as Jack Bondurant gets shot at the bridge, but lives!

Covered Bridge with Walking Dead Cred

Built in the 1840s, the Red Oak River covered bridge is the oldest and longest -- 391 feet -- wooden bridge in Georgia. Also known as the kissing bridge, it was the filming site for a scene in The Walking Dead where Michonne and Daryl confront the Whisperer Tribe.

Cars are allowed to actually drive across the bridge, but the narrow structure is accessible to passenger cars only.
