World's Largest Fishing Lure
This is a nice park area. Great for fishing at the pond, especially for kids. The road is now paved, too.
[Tania, 08/07/2023]The largest fishing lure in the world will be officially unveiled outdoors on June 1, 2019, in Lacombe (I got a sneak peak at a special VIP event). It was built to celebrate the 90th birthday of the Thompson-Pallister Bait Co. Ltd, and is a replica of the company's popular 5 of Diamonds Len Thompson Lure. It's 28 feet long, and will include a 16-foot-hook. A whopper!
