Scallop Shell War Memorial
This unusual war memorial was originally a fountain beside city hall. When the water works died it was turned into a planter. The town decided to build a proper, boring granite war memorial and this disappeared, only to reappear in Slater Park. It could be the world's largest concrete scallop, although I cannot prove it.
