I found most of the A&W Root Beer family residing here at Carter's Drive-In. Papa and Mama Burger are in back next to the outdoor seating area. Teen Burger stands out front by the entrance, and the mechanism that makes him spin back and forth still works. Didn't see Baby Burger, unfortunately. Carter's used to actually be an A&W stand, and the statues have been there for years.

- Adolfo's Taco Shop, on the south edge of town. I-10 exit 336 onto S. Haskell Ave. and drive north a couple of miles. On the right, at the corner of S. Haskell Ave. and W. Downen St.
