Ingersoll Cheese and Agricultural Museum

This little museum along Route 119 in Ontario is quite a gem. The main building is a community museum that celebrates the town's history, and which houses an enormous intricate wood carving panorama of the town, and antiques ranging from a horse meat shipping box to old classroom desks and toys. There is also a cheese museum, which has detailed explanations of the entire cheese-making process, as well as a replica blacksmith shop (which, inexplicably, has a large number of wooden stilts that visitors are welcome to try), and a town sports museum with trophies, photos, and an enormous racing boat. Well worth a stop if you're traveling across southern Ontario!
