This small museum was founded in 1931 and is the oldest Native-American-run Indian museum in the U.S. It houses a nice collection of Mohegan artifacts and a small Mohegan village outside the building. Since the Mohegans built their casino the museum has been refurbished. It makes a great spot for kids and adults to see authentic objects. The guides are Mohegan and very knowledgeable.
