Tahoe City, California: Grizzly Bear made of Pennies
12-foot-tall mom Grizzly Bear, and her two six-foot-tall cubs, with fur made of 200,000 American and Canadian pennies. Named "Ursa Mater" when it debuted at 2017 Burning Man, but its fans call it "Penny Bear." Tahoe City bought the sculpture in 2019.
